Hopewell Valley Community Bank Announces the Appointment of Bruce E. Turner,
Vice President, of their new division, HVC Funding Group.

Hopewell Township, NJ – December 17, 2004 – Hopewell Valley Community Bank has announced the appointment of Bruce E. Turner as Vice President of the bank’s new loan brokering division, HVC Funding Group.  Mr. Turner is a long-time familiar face in the Hopewell Valley lending market from his more than 17 years of previous experience as a mortgage broker with Princeton Mortgage Company.  Bruce resides in Pennington with his wife Lauren and children, Scott and Chelsea.

“Joining forces with Bruce is a win-win for the bank and the community”, said President and CEO, James Hyman.  “Bruce has built a reputation of responsiveness and attentiveness with a wide base of consumer and small business contacts in the Mercer County market.  With the creation of our new division, Bruce will be able to deliver an expanding array of loan products throughout the numerous contacts he has developed.”

HVC Funding Group will be located in the new County Line office recently opened by the bank at the intersection of Routes 518 and 31 in Hopewell Township.  Combined with this new division, the recently opened loan production office in Cranbury is indicative of the commitment Hopewell Valley Community Bank has to becoming “The Lending Bank” for consumers and small businesses.
