Cathy Frank-White Joins Hopewell Valley Community bank
Hopewell Township, NJ – September 17, 2003 – James Hyman, President and CEO of Hopewell Valley Community Bank (HVCB) announced today the hiring of Cathy Frank-White as Manager of Community Relations for the Bank. Most recently the President of the Greater Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Frank-White has a long history of successful endeavors in both business and public affairs in the Mercer area as well as throughout New Jersey.
Mr. Hyman commented “The addition of Cathy to the Bank’s staff will be a tremendous asset for us as we continue our growth. Her numerous career successes and her accomplishments at the Greater Mercer Chamber clearly show that she is an energetic, results-oriented person with a vast wealth of contacts in the Mercer/Hunterdon area. She will be very helpful in introducing HVCB’s style of customer-minded banking to our communities”.
Ms. Frank-White was born and raised in Mercer County with a lifetime of extensive public and community service. She is a woman who has gained recognition with the distinction of being “first” in many fields. She was the first woman Mayor of Montgomery Township and served as the first Township Administrator of Branchburg. She went on to become the first woman in the country to serve as Executive Director of a State Association of Chiefs of Police, a position she successfully held for six years. Most recently, she was the first woman president of the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Frank-White’s commitment to public and community service has been evident by her record of continuous involvement of over 30 years on committees, commissions and boards throughout the state in the areas of business, community service, legislative and charitable organizations. She presently serves as Chairman of the Saint Lawrence/Morris Hall Board of Trustees and Chairman of Lifeties, a home for abused children. She is the Chairman of the Mercer County Employers Legislative Committee and serves as a Trustee on the New Jersey Business and Industry Political Action Committee.
Ms. Frank-White’s contributions to New Jersey are evident by the dozens of awards she has received in her career. Included are “Woman of the Year” from the Princeton Elks, “Community Service” from the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce, the NJ Food Council’s “Good Government” award, the NJ Conference of Mayor’s “Former Mayor of the Year”, The NJ Business and Industry’s “Leonard C. Johnson” award, and the National Grocers Association “Spirit of America Award”.
